In 2008/09, JMG worked with LNG Refuellers Pty Ltd to develop a state - wide network of LNG refuelling stations supplied from a central LNG plant at Westbury. JMG contributed Planning, Civil, Structural and Electrical Engineering expertise to the project.
JMG undertook site planning, civil engineering and prepared the planning application submission for the development of the Oak Tree Retirement Village is a 54 unit site with community centre and private forest reserve.
This project saw JMG prepare a Master Plan for 247 residential lots, an aged care facility, retirement village and public open space. The Master Plan provides a structure to guide the infill of land between the existing suburban areas of Risdon Vale and Geilston Bay.
JMG was engaged to provide advice and obtain planning approval for a major supermarket chain distribution centre development in Breadalbane, Tasmania. The facility is to service retail outlets around the state.
JMG were engaged to prepare an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for the construction of a house on a coastal allotment. The EMP was prepared for consideration in the Break O'Day Council development approval process as well as to directly guide management of works proposed to be undertaken on the site.
JMG were engaged to prepare a submission for the Resource Planning and Development Commission hearings for the then Draft Clarence Planning Scheme. The submission provided a strategic framework for future development on Droughty Point, which is the largest land bank remaining of Hobart's Eastern Shore.
JMG’s town planning and engineering services were engaged in 2006 to produce a subdivision proposal for Single Hill - a prominant landform near Hobart. Services provided included a review of options for the site, masterplan development and a detailed planning report for the RPDC.
