JMG continued its relationship with Hazel Bros. Group teaming up once again to deliver the South East Irrigation Scheme Stage 3 after successful completion of the Midlands Water Scheme.
The South East Irrigation Scheme consists of approximately 80km of polyethylene pipeline delivering water from the TasWater supply at Granton, under the River Derwent to Forcett. The Scheme includes three booster pump stations and an offline storage dam to provide continuity of supply throughout the entire year to around 65 irrigation customers.
The Scheme was designed and constructed in a little over 12 months, approximately four months ahead of schedule, at a cost of $27 million.
